Hier, nous avons faits avec Gilles quelques parties de Jugula. Cela a confirmé ma première impression : c'est un très bon jeu qui permet de nombreuses stratégies et oblige à des choix toujours cornéliens.

Yesterday I played with Gilles some games of Jugula. It confirmed my first impression: it is a very good game that allows many strategies and requires always difficult choices.

1ère partie de Jugula / First game of Jugula

Voici, le petit plateau que j'ai créé pour jouer à Jugula. J'ai testé le jeu avec mon épouse et nous avons trouvé le jeu très intéressant. Il a besoin d'être pratiqué plus longuement pour voir toutes les cartes et toutes les techniques possibles.

Je vais essayer de retenter l'expérience bientôt et si possible en mode campagne.

It is the small board I created to play Jugula. I tested the game with my wife and we found the game very interesting. It needs to be practiced more extensively to see all the cards and all possible techniques.

I will try to play again soon and if possible with testing the campaign mode.

Gladiateur pour Jugula : Mamertinus le provocator / Gladiator for Jugula : Mamertinus the provocator

J'ai commencé à peindre deux équipes de gladiateurs pour pouvoir présenter et jouer à Jugula, le nouveau jeu du Studio Tomahawk. Les figurines sont toutes issues de la gamme (disparue?) des troupes de Spartacus distribuée anciennement par Aventine Miniatures.
Voici Mamertinus, un provocator, en route pour la gloire !

I started to paint two teams of gladiators in order to present and play Jugula, the new game from Studio Tomahawk. The figurines are all from the range (which went missing?) of Spartacus troops formerly distributed by Aventine Miniatures.
